Leadership requires vision and an unwavering work ethic to make the vision a reality. I founded LITE, a nonprofit organization, to train and empower students in leadership development, emotional intelligence, conflict management, and other life skills. Working alongside teachers, administrators, and parents, I have served over 5,000 students to help equip them to achieve their personal and professional goals. One student shared, “I love how it changed my opinion on working with people. It was great advice, and I will truly never forget this. I believe it will affect me greatly in the future.”

With roots in a family of veterans, educators, and union members, I believe that hard work and sacrifice are the foundation of lasting impact. I am committed to work relentlessly to bring stability, financial responsibility, safety, transparency, and collaboration to the Akron Public School Board to tackle the pressing challenges facing our schools.
